Ed Longanecker

President

Ed Longanecker joined TIPRO as the organization’s president in 2012, bringing nearly 20 years of combined policy, oil and gas, and non-profit management experience. Prior to becoming president of TIPRO, Longanecker served as senior vice president of TechAmerica, one of the largest technology non-profits in the nation, where he managed national sales, programs, client retention and more than 25 field staff throughout the U.S. Longanecker also directed all state legislative priorities, strategy and lobbying efforts for a 13-state region for nearly 10 years at TechAmerica and previously led the organization’s 50 state government affairs program, including the management of six in-house government affairs representatives and 13 contract lobbying firms. Longanecker served as a key spokesman, senior executive and lobbyist for the organization for a total of 13 years, effectively representing both emerging and Fortune 500 companies on a wide-range of complex policy issues at the state and federal levels. Longanecker joined TechAmerica after serving as vice president of operations for Can-Tex Energy Corporation, an independent oil and gas producer based in Dallas, Texas, where he managed financial, development and operational responsibilities for the company. He graduated from Western State College of Colorado with a B.A. in business management, before obtaining a master’s degree in business administration from Amberton University.

Joanne McCord-Reynolds

Vice President of Finance & Administration

Joanne McCord-Reynolds joined TIPRO in July 2003 and oversees all budget and planning, tax compliance and financial reporting for the association. With over 20 years of financial management experience, McCord-Reynolds’ background includes extensive work in auditing, including work with Performance 2000/Criminal Justice Division of the Office of the Governor. She also served as the regional manager of Latin American Accounts for CSA Management, Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies, with a minor in economics, from St. Edwards University.

Ryan Paylor

Director of Government Affairs

Ryan Paylor joined TIPRO in February of 2019 with over ten years of state legislative relations experience. Paylor previously spearheaded policy and legislative priorities for members of both the state House and the Texas Senate. He most recently worked with the vice-chairman of the Sunset Commission to find efficiencies within state agencies and provide regulatory certainty to industry participants. Paylor has worked with Senate committees that have jurisdiction over Texas’ natural resources and environmental regulation. He now oversees all legislative engagement efforts on behalf of TIPRO.

Kelli Snyder

Director of Communications

Kelli Snyder serves as the director of communications for TIPRO, responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining all communication efforts on behalf of the association. Snyder, a native of Austin, graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in public relations and business. With ten years of experience, Snyder has managed marketing, public relations, publications and other forms of communication and outreach on behalf of TIPRO since 2010. Prior to her role with the association, she previously worked for several companies and communications agencies in the Austin area, including Whole Foods Market and Fleishman Hillard.

Anjelica Torres

Membership Coordinator

Anjelica Torres serves as TIPRO’s membership coordinator, helping to maintain TIPRO’s database and management of events, as well as provide necessary support for the association’s day-to-day operations and assist with financial and membership functions. She studied Business Administration at Austin Community College. Previously, Torres worked as an executive assistant for Hendler Law Firm in Austin.
